Ticket to Ride Strategy Board Game for Ages 8 and up, from Asmodee

Build your tracks across the United States in Ticket to Ride, a fast-paced and strategic board game. In every game, you and your opponents must compete for train cards, which in turn allow you to run your trains between iconic American cities. You’ll earn points for every route you complete, but you need to plan for the future—ticket cards can give you many more points if you connect the two cities shown on the ticket. Just be careful: your opponents are competing for the same routes as you! Ticket to Ride is for 2-5 children, teen, or adults, ages 8 and up.

Ticket to Ride is an absolute gem! I loved every minute of it. The gameplay is simple to learn but offers plenty of strategy, making it perfect for both casual players and competitive ones. The tension of racing to complete your routes before others is thrilling, and the satisfaction of connecting distant cities is unbeatable. The board and cards are beautifully designed, adding to the immersive experience. Whether playing with friends or family, every session feels different and exciting. It's a game that keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommend for game nights—you won't be disappointed!

Such a fun game. We have been playing it with friends for several years and finally bought one for ourselves on a good pre Christmas sale. It takes a while to play Anita not a short game but it involves strategy but isn't too hard for most family members to enjoy. Highly recommended.

As an avid game player, I play this game with my spouse. Yes, it is somewhat challenging, but who doesn't love a challenge you start out by picking out the color train you want and you make the best decision to connect all the routes overall, I find this game to be very fun. I would say that young Teens to older generations would like to play this game as well.
Get your train off my track!

The game was originally price at almost $50. But by ordering it online and picking it up I paid have the amount. We originally played the game at a dinner party, a group of 5 adults . There is strategy involved so knowing all the directions is important especially when you have individuals who are competitive. We've played it since and love it. Couldn't tell you if kids would like it. This game can be time consuming but enjoyable.

My grandsons and their parents love this game and spend many evenings playing it and having quality family time. The boys are 8 and 10 years old and it is their favourite game to play. They are excited to teach it to me.

Just that the product price was different from the store to online that's added benefit. I have loved this game playing with my whole family allowed to promote this product. Thank you.

We absolutely love this game. It's easy to play and we enjoy it each time. The fun facts about the parks and the pictures make it so much fun to remember the parks we have been to and add the ones we haven't to our list.
Classic modern board game
by DeLightfulDee
This game is a modern, classic family game. Players collect “train” cards of various colors or play the cards to complete routes between cities, scoring points. Players have tickets they complete for additional end game scoring. Easy enough for kids and engaging enough for adults. This game is U.S. but there are other maps available.
Ticket To Ride - Fun Game
by Robert
This is a very fun game, with enough different facets to it that different people will utilize different strategies. My wife is very picky about games, and even she liked it. In fact, we like it enough that I plan to buy at least one more version of the game (there are many versions, for different countries and cities). It is a slow-paced game (but only took about an hour to finish), so if you like lots of quick action then it's probably not for you. I played it with just my wife, and we feel that the game would be pretty different if there were more players. Hard to predict whether it would be more fun or less, but it would be different. One last note - I gave the game 4 stars for value, but that's because I bought it from the Walmart website. The in-store price is almost twice as much. The online price was a sale price, but it seems like this is frequently (maybe even always) on sale.
Great Fun

Ticket to Ride is an enjoyable and interesting board hame and is a family favorite. We have played it several times, and everyone loves it. The rules are easy to learn. The game can be played very quickly with anywhere from 2 to 5 players. Great fun! I highly recommend this board game.
Family fun for an afternoon or evening
by micheal
Great strategy game. You have to have an early game by completing your trips, but also be aware of the other players as they utilize their train cars. The games ends when one player uses all of their cars. At that point the scoring begins to determine the winner. Highly recommend. Hours of fun.
Good game for children, parents, and grandparents.

I was seeking a game we could play with our 9 year old granddaughter, and this completely met the need. All players remain interested because it is impossible to tell who is winning until the very end of the game. It is fun for all players, even the ones who ones who don't win.
Easy to learn, and fun for the whole family.
by DevistatinglyDomestic
This is a fantastic family game. it simple enough for children to understand, yet parents can still be challenged. It isn't a money game or one that requires reading, so even younger children can enjoy it without it becoming tires some. A game can last about 30-45 minutes, so you can play a few games at a setting. This was a gift for our son's 8th Birthday. We played it three times as a family before the kids went to bed an twice with just the adults after. If you enjoy board games this is a must for your collection.
One of the greatest board games ever!
by majindruu
I played many board games as a kid and most of them came down to luck. You got stuck on one path where dice or a spinner would randomly decide you fate. Ticket to Ride is not one of those games. Players collect cards to claim routes, and longer routes get you more points. I love the fact that it is easy to learn (recommended ages 8+), but players still need to use strategy in order to win the game. You can try to complete routes to make your connected path longer, or you can claim routes that interfere with the routes that your opponents want to claim. Having more players also affects strategy, because you have to try and claim the routes you need as soon as possible. Bottom line, I love this game and recommend it to everyone.

Game is a good mix if strategy with outcomes impacted by opponent moves and random card draws. The theme of the game is to connect city pairs by rail in competition with other players connecting different city pairs, but rail line capacity is limited. This is a fun game that takes about an hour to complete.

Fun and Easy Game

Great game! Very easy to learn and really enjoyable for 2 or more players. I'll be bringing this to my next family game night.
Cheap quality not for gifting
by Val
I received a game and it looks like a knock off with cheap quality box and internal compartments. Besides that box came in damaged on the corners because of the low quality of material. So this definitely can not be given as a present.
