Goliath Games - Googly Eyes™ Showdown- Kids & Family Game

Get ready to be wild and wacky with Googly Eyes Showdown! It's the epic battle that challenges your vision and will leave you googling for more! Teams of players put on the zany, vision-distorting glasses and start to draw while your team tries to guess what you're drawing. Is that a carrot or a pencil? A sock or a stocking? Players take turns drawing and guessing, so everyone gets a chance to wear the glasses. Most fun Ive had in a long time with kids!
Googly Eyes Game
by jq12
This is a game where you put glasses on with lens that distort your vision so that when you draw it makes you see different while drawing and the other players have to guess what it is you are drawing. There are changeable lens and a timer for how many seconds you are given to draw whatever your pick of drawing is. Great family fun or for any group of kids. There's a board and die for moving along the board and is what gives you the color of lens and what you are to draw.

Bought this because the kids wanted to try it out. We have the original Googly Eyes game, and this one is just as fun. More lenses that actually make seeing Anything difficult, but the fun we had attempting to draw with them on was worth it. Definitely recommend for a family game night.
Fun game!

This game is so much fun!I had the older Googley eyes game and it was not as fun as this one.The older one only had 3 lenses however this one had 6 lenses. This one also came with two pairs of glasses which is good because the old glasses broke the first day I got it. This game also has more features which makes it interested. Overall this game is a lot of fun and I definitely recommend it for people of all ages.
My kids love this game
by MyMy
My kids absolutely LOVE this game . They had mentioned it earlier in the year , they had played it at their dads house and came home ranting about it. Very cute and interesting game . Very thankful to be able to add this game to my game collection . Can't wait to introduce this game to others in my family at my next family game night .
Crazy fun game!

This is a fun, crazy game! You will need at least 4 players as you are on teams. One person puts on the glasses with the lenses that are distorted and then he/she tries to draw a picture. Your team members try to guess what you are drawing. There are six different sets of lens, a pair of glasses for each team, pencils and pads to draw your picture, a timer, a game board, dice, and tokens which you use to decide what colored lens to use, and 50+ cards with the pictures that you are to draw. It is crazy how the pictures turn out! This had us cracking up. The lenses go from mildly distorted to really crazy. This is a really fun game. We had ages from an 11 year old to a 66 year old playing and we all enjoyed this game.
So fun!

We played this game with friends and it was hilarious! The goggles are so funny and trying to draw out the clue is just a riot. It's great for bigger kids but honestly it was fun for just us adults. It's extremely easy to play the instructions are clear and the goggles were easy to swap. We loved playing it, it will be a go to for game night now.

This is a awesome little game. The changeable lenses are different levels of distortion. Some are a little easier to see out of then others. Then you have to drawl while wearing the distortion glasses. This is a fun family game. We love it. Definitely give this game a try.

Fun game to play
Hours of Fun!
by Tjoens
We were so excited to try this game. Our kids are 8 and 6 and love family game night. This game is a little like Pictionary, with a twist. My girls had a blast. It took us about an hour to play through one game, the four of us.
What a great party game for kids!
by StraightTalkingGranny
This Googly Eyes game is much more fun than anticipated! We played with three adults and one child and it was great entertainment for hours. The colors and patterns of the plastic glasses are very bright and textured so as to make the game interesting and challenging. The couple things that would've made it easier for us are the way the color “lenses” slip in and out of the glasses…it can be burdensome to do this throughout the game and I can see eventually the frames may get chipped or broken with mishandling. It would also be improved if there were more cards in the deck as it is easy to have to reuse cards if this game is played for any great length of time. To have new words to guess would be useful, but I do understand that it is a game for children and maybe the vocabulary has to remain understandable in a certain age group, but it's quite limited in that way. Also, I found it very distracting when both teams were guessing at the same time, so if it were played where each team took turns vs. talking simultaneously, it might be more enjoyable, instead of having to keep track of the timer, in addition to drawing and guessing. Otherwise, it's a great game to play!
Silly family fun

Googly Eyes show down is a great family and friends game night laugh! It comes with all items you need to play the silly game! Each item has its own place within the organized box which I love! The game is labeled for ages 7+. However, if there is some adult or help from older kids some younger children would be able to play too!
Silly and fun board game
by misstiff823
This is a great game for the family. Myself and my 8 year old son played this together and had a blast. The "goggles" are a very original and fun way of making the game fun and challenging. You can't see too well while wearing them and they add an element of silliness to the game. The game comes with pad and small pencil to draw prompts from cards. Theres a timer that you can use to time yourself and other players when making drawings. The first player to reach the end wins but we had so much fun making the drawings and guessing what the other drew that we kept going. I would highly recommend this game.
Really fun game!

I recently received the “Googly Eyes Showdown” board game and was super excited to play it. The instructions were really easy to follow and really explained the whole game really well. This game is like a couple of old-school games put into one. What you have to do is roll a dice, pick up a little token that tells you what color lens to put in the glasses, pick a card that has the word you need to draw/has the time limit for your drawing and go! This game can be played by at least four people and it really is fun. The lenses for the goggles are crazy and they really distort your vision making it harder to draw your picture which is fun because sometimes your drawings look absolutely crazy. One suggestion I would make to help this game be better would be that each lens should have the crazy effect on the entire lens not just in the middle because sometimes while I was drawing I would move my head at a certain angle and I could see clearly while I was drawing. There are six different lenses that range from mild to super crazy. I actually played this game with four other adult teams and we all had a blast.
Great game!

I brought this game to my parents' house to play with the family on Christmas after opening gifts. It was a hit! The box says it's for kids ages 7 and up and for 4-16 players. The game comes with a game board, 2 pawns, 2 pairs of “wacky glasses”, 6 pairs of distorting lenses, 1 die with a sticker sheet, 6 colored tokens, a timer, 2 paper pads, 2 pencils, and cards (162 challenges and time limits). I played with kids ages 6 and up and adults up to 70. We could have used the board and played the game the way it “officially”should be played by keeping track of points and such but we just played for the fun of it - boys versus girls. The “wacky glasses” are really wacky! LOL. Each of the designs are challenging in their own way with their designs and colors adding a different level of difficulty. The glasses are comfortable to wear for adults and children. I know because I asked! My kids enjoyed being challenged by the “wacky glasses” and the things they had to draw on the cards. They also liked that the timer forces you to draw faster adding to the silliness of the game.
Fun Game

My son loves this game, okay he is only five, so really loves wearing the glasses. It is very hard to draw with those glasses on. It is just as hard to figure out what the person is drawing.
The glasses are fun :)

My kids love wearing and playing with the glasses by themselves. They are 5 and 7 years old. They don't really want to play the game though. I love the goofy concept of this game. You draw something, then the players have to wear the glasses and try to guess what you've drawn. This is very difficult, but fun to watch the player wearing the glasses. This is what makes the game. lol :) But again, my kids don't really want to play the game...maybe when they're a little older. I think it would be ideal bonding time for tweens and their parents.
Pictionary with silly glasses.

Pictionary with silly glasses. It was okay the first time we played but honestly we will just stick to the regular game.
Didn't like it
by GumballBerry
The googly eyes game was a flop at my home. It states for ages 7 and up. I have a 7 yr old that tried it and didnt care much for it. It is extremely hard to draw with the glasses but that's the point of the game. It comes with everything to start it up. Even the paper and pencil. There's different colored lenses to choose from for what ever color youd like to look through:) The kids and I just didnt care much for it and after bout an hr of playing decide that was enough and we havent picked it up since.
Hurts my eyes

The Googly Eye game was a flop at my home. It says for ages 7 and up but I wouldn't recommend anyone at any age wearing those distorted goggles for any period of time. I actually got a headache after just a few moments of wearing them. It comes with everything ya need to get started. Even the pencil and paper:). It also has 6 different color lenses to change to your color preferences. I can tell ya it's near impossible to even start to draw one of the images that you have chosen but if you kinda tilt your head to the side you can cheat lol. I have a 7 yr old that wears glasses and I wouldn't let him even play it cause I was afraid of making his eyes worse. I gave it 1 star but really this is a thumbs down game. I would not recommend this for anyone.
