Iconic game of the decades!
by Laura
Was my favorite game growing up and is for a toddlers upcoming birthday. I know she will love this iconic game that teaches colors and counting along with being a good sport!

Candyland is a trusted family game that has been around for a very long time and now my grandsons can play it ..easy to follow a win for kids. Nowadays
Family member's gonna LOVE IT as much as I had
by Draycos
I used to play this as a kid during school days (before grade 3 of LAC in the 90s). So I already love this game. BUT I got this game not for myself, but for a family member's next birthday gift

Who doesn't remember Candy land as a kid? This is a classic fun game. Still bright colors, design and so easy to use. Kids were able to play with ease. Even the older sister joined in. Arrived on time. I really like how now folds up smaller than the older version. Easier to store, travel with and clean up.
Great deal on classic kids board game

Classic first kids board game. Square box with board that folds into fourths. Quality same as any board game. This game at the $5 sale price is a great deal. I bought one for gifting my one year old granddaughter when she's three. I put it in the future gift closet for her with some other great classics at super prices!

5-year-old granddaughter loves the game. We play it as a family. It teaches her important values such as patience, taking turns, and one will win as well as lose in life.
Board game is valuable!
by Brenda
A valuable game . I had this game when i was young,,played with when my child was young, i still recall when she was little she would be 42, today, she lives with our Father in Heaven and it bring a sincere smile to my face, the value and price unbelievable !
Preschool game excellent for beginners
by Michele
I bought this game for my 3 yr old grandson. It was super easy for him to follow along with and play. It requires no reading just draw a card and follow along with colors of blocks on the card. Move those spaces and discard card into pile. So many hours of fun.
Fun

My kids and I enjoyed playing the game. But the board was ripped in half not even 4 hours after receiving it. And the cards are so thin and flimsy. Being a kids game, I wish they would use stronger materials than what they do.

It's a great game for younger children, but I feel most of the charm of the game I played as a child is gone. it's not as engaging, but still fun for quick play.
Adequate
by Lisa
I found it very confusing to choose which game to purchase and what the differences were between the games. This is a flimsier version of the childhood board game, which one could guess from the price difference, but to my granddaughter it didn't matter. My daughter mentioned the board was a little different than the game from her childhood too, but again my granddaughter didn't know the older game so she didn't care. You do get what you pay for and this was very affordable.
Good game bad quality
by Triple103
I am disappointed that they made the card so cheap. The paper is too thin for little children to play with. They're going to rip it and bend it. It's a shame in the world today that we can't even make a quality card for a kids game that's why I gave it a low rating.
not like the original
by steven
i was born in the 90's and this is a completly different board design. not only do the characters look different but the cards are cheaply made. poor quality cards, red looks like another shade of orange. that aside my 4 year old likes playing it a lot, so maybe its not so bad.
Missing pieces
by anonymous
Candy Land is a classic and I have no issue with the game itself, but the one I ordered from Walmart came with only three game pieces. The green figure was missing which leads me to believe this item was returned and not quality checked before being shipped to me. I plan to use this in my room as a school counselor, so I'll buy another one in order to have a complete set to use with my students.
Tore Apart
by anonymous
Flimsy board, it tore in half first use, I taped it back together down the middle on the underside, so it works fine for us to play, but it's low quality. Kids love playing the game though, of course
Horrible delivery which was not delivered .
by Norma
They delivered my package to wrong address. Person who wrongly received the package returned it. And, haven't gotten no refund or even notice from Walmart that the package was returned to them. Received email that they were delivered successfully. Not happy at all with Walmart delivery. Hopefully, I will receive a refund since the package wasn't delivered to correct address or received.
Poor quality flimsy materials

Cheaply made not good quality….My kids loved this game growing up so I thought I'd buy it for the grandkids. The cards are cheap paper %26 the “players” are flimsy plastic. What happened to quality? My old game is 1,000 times better than this junk.
Not all new things are good.
by Carmen
This is not the same as it used to be to be. The board is so narrow and the pieces are too big. Also the cards are just thick paper that rips when you try and take them out the first time. All in all I would not buy this again, waste of money.
Not the original, cheaply made
by Rick
If you played this as a child and want to share those memories by playing with your child or grandchild, you will be dissappointed. Only grace is the price but would rather pay more for the classic game. Very cheaply made as one would expect based on price, but to change the characters... well just disappointed.
CandyLand Crushed
by Nana3
I bought this game for my granddaughter, thinking it would be like the Candy Land game from the 1980s. I was very disappointed dur to the poor quality of the board and game pieces, also the graphics have changed which instead of having dreamlike, pleasant illustrated characters, they were rather unpleasant and scary to my granddaughter.
