Dominion: 2nd Edition is an improvement over the classic Dominion. Upgraded covers and cards make it more interesting and fun to play. This new version has streamlined rules and amended card text to eliminate confusion. You are a monarch, like your parents before you, a ruler of a small pleasant kingdom of rivers and evergreens. Unlike your parents, however, you have hopes and dreams. You want a bigger and more pleasant kingdom, with more rivers and a wider variety of trees. You want a Dominion. In all directions lie fiefs, freeholds, and feodum. All are small bits of land, controlled by petty lords and verging on anarchy. You will bring civilization to these people, uniting them under your banner. But wait. It must be something in the air, several other monarchs have had the exact same idea. You must race to get as much of the unclaimed land as possible, fending them off along the way. To do this you will hire minions, construct buildings, spruce up your castle, and fill the coffers of your treasury. Your parents wouldn't be proud, but your grandparents, would be delighted.

Great Investment!

We bought this game to help our family pass the time during snowed-in winter days. Although the box says it's geared toward 13 on up, my 9 year old easily managed to learn and hold her own with the older players (requires reading, basic math skills, and sense of strategy). It's got a lot of variety (the cards can be mixed in enough combinations to make each game feel unique), and runs just the right amount of time (slower than UNO, faster than Monopoly). After a small learning curve (about 3 games to get comfortable/confident in our choices) it's become a big family favorite.

Dominion is a fun game. I have adult children and we've enjpyed playing it together. We shopped around online, and Walmart had the vest price that we found.

Very fun game and great for both family and friends! Since you can change which cards you are playing with, it is different each round and never gets old. Should be a classic staple of anyone's game cabinet.

We really enjoy playing Dominion! It's very versatile and because there are so many different combinations, the game is different every time. So far, only played two player, but it was a great investment and a good add to our game collection

A deck building game, turned out to be a lot of fun. We can finish a game in 30 to 45 minutes. Easy to learn and so many strategies to go with. Highly recommend.

This game is easy to learn but has a lot of depth in gameplay, offering a different experience each time and allowing us to build our own strategy. I highly recommend it for couples, as my wife and I are enjoying it a lot.

Condition was terrible

The game is great, however the box looks like it was dropkicked through the end zone. The shipping box was in great condition, but the actual game box was fairly crushed. It was definitely that way when it left the warehouse, not damaged during shipping.
