Such a convenient game for travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't played Operation since I was a kid. Honestly, I don't think my kiddos have ever played it until last night. The folding travel case design is awesome and makes travel and set up easy. Having everything in one place keeps us from losing pieces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a classic! The new packaging is so convenient as everything can be stored in the case for easy clean up and storage. Case adds a nice safety feature so little kids cannot get a hold of any small pieces. Packaging does a great job of showing what the game is all about.

Fun on the go

by danad176_4794

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was a kid, I used to love playing operation. The fine motor skills you had to use, the pressure not to hit the sides and being able to play with friends and family were always highlights for me. This portable game has everything you could want with the original and more. The buzzing action actually happens on the board so it doesn't buzz your hand like the original. It has a nice convenient place to put the tweezers, cards and pieces so you don't lose them and can easily close the game. I highly recommend this version of the game. So much fun!

Great for travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Operation game is half the size of the original and folds open for play, which makes it great for traveling. There is a small compartment inside it to hold the cards and game pieces. The buzzer is loud and makes the kids jump, they loved it. It also has a 60 second timer when you push and hold the nose, for rapid removal. Overall it's a 5/5 stars. I highly recommend this game!

Fun and Challenging Game for Kids!

by geen1991_7857

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids absolutely love playing the classic Operation game! It's a bit challenging for them, but I can definitely see how it's helping improve their hand-eye coordination. They recently had friends over, and everyone had such a great time taking turns and laughing when the buzzer went off. It is a little on the loud side, but that just adds to the excitement. Overall, it's a fantastic game that keeps them engaged and entertained. Highly recommend!

Fun for everyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son absolutely loves this game, and I love the changes they've made to it since I owned it as a kid. The packaging is easy to take on the go and not as bulky as in the past. It's quick to put up after use. I really like how everything is contained in the actual game instead of having a box that falls apart - I feel like it makes it easier to keep up with pieces.

A Fun and Engaging Way to Build Fine Motor Skills!

by jlmorgz_7255

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I just played the new Operation game for the first time, and we had an absolute blast! This classic game has been updated with vibrant colors, fun sound effects, and an engaging design that makes it even more exciting for kids (and parents!). One of the things I love most about Operation is how it challenges fine motor skills in such a playful way. Watching him focus, carefully maneuver the tweezers, and celebrate each successful “surgery” was amazing. It's the perfect mix of skill, patience, and laughter—especially when that buzzer goes off! Beyond just the fun factor, I can already see how this game will help strengthen his hand-eye coordination and precision, which are so important for development. Plus, it's a great way for us to spend quality time together, cheering each other on and enjoying some friendly competition. If you're looking for a game that is entertaining, skill-building, and brings the whole family together, Operation is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Great new edition of a classic.

by randallm8_6684

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great new edition of the classic board game operation. I loved this game as a kid, see if you could get the rubber band or the heart, leg bone, anything and that always shocking zap sound when you failed. It was always a thrill to little me. This new edition comes in its own foldable plastic container, so the days of the torn, big cardboard box are a thing of the past. This is half the size, easy to clean up and put away.

Classic and revamped board game!

by amandapipp_1171

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game Operation is a classic. I was pleasantly surprised with the upgrade and portability of the game. It's a fun, skill-based game that tests your hand-eye coordination and steady hands as you attempt to remove tiny plastic ailments from a cartoon patient named Cavity Sam. Pros: -Great for all ages – While it's marketed toward kids, adults can have just as much fun (especially when played competitively). -Simple yet challenging – The concept is easy to grasp, but the buzzer punishes even the slightest mistake, making it surprisingly tricky. -Encourages fine motor skills – It's a fantastic way for younger players to develop precision and patience. -Classic nostalgia – If you played this as a kid, the familiar sound of the buzzer and the little ailments bring back fond memories. Cons: -Pieces can get lost easily – Some of the ailments are tiny, so keeping track of them is important. -Limited replayability – Once you've mastered the game, it doesn't change much, so it might not hold long-term interest for everyone. If you're looking for a fun, interactive game that challenges your dexterity, Operation is a great choice. It's perfect for family game nights, but the novelty can wear off after repeated plays. Still, its classic charm and simple mechanics make it a solid addition to any board game collection.

Fun for game nights with the kids!

by lizm335_8259

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played the game “Operation” with my 8-year-old, and it was fun! The game was easy for my child to understand, but still kept us both entertained with its buzzer and fun challenges. We had a great time trying to remove the “body parts” without setting off the buzzer—definitely added a lot of laughs and excitement to our game night. It's a fun way to keep kids engaged . It's a fun time for game night.

Cute, portable version of a classic game

by bethh1f9a_2502

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out this classic game from my childhood with my own kiddo. The portability of the game is a nice feature as is the ability to play on your own in the Emergency Mode. However, we both found that the spaces for each “ailment” were slightly too big which caused pieces to move too much. We still had fun playing, but the moving pieces were a bit frustrating.

Ailments not included

by taylorm761_5442

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super stoked to show my kids this game and reminisce about my own childhood, but upon opening the game we discovered the ailments were not included. I imagine my game was a one-off, but still super disappointed. I love the updates to the carrying case so all the pieces would be easily stored and protected (no more smashed cardboard boxes)! Unfortunately I can't speak more on actually playing the game since the ailments were missing.
