The Game of Life Game, Family Board Game, For Ages 8+, Pegs Come In 6 Colors

I got this for my son after he tried it at the library and find that it's a really good way to get math and counting practice into him in a "fun" way. He'll play this for hours and wants to be the banker every time. We also talk about the career cards and what it might be like to have different jobs. I like that this is an updated modern version of Life, right down to the colored pegs (no more "blue is for boys and pink is for girls"). It's a fun way for me to connect with my kid too!

Every year, I try to choose a game that the entire family can play together after eating all the delicious festive food. We range in age from 6 to 75. This game has changed a bit from my day (65 yrs), but it's still a family fun game. It's nice to spend time together and laugh while enjoying each other's company. This game helped provide family memories.

it's okay for the price unfortunately they don't sell any form of the original version. example of the jobs for this version are being a "vlogger" and "social media expert" the kind of takes away from the game if you're playing it with grandparents, it's tacky!

The pieces seem smaller than I remember as a kid? Not sure why, but it seems not well made. It is affordable though and my son loves the game but the pieces are so tiny. There's something off with trying to play it definitely not the same quality as when we were kids.

I used to play this game when I was a kid (in the 80s)…my hubby %26 I thought it would be fun to play it with our kiddos (ages 7 %26 10). It was so much fun! I really like how they updated the game, including making it optional if you want to be married/have kids. We will definitely be playing again soon!

I disliked that there were no buildings or roads to add to the board. And there is not really a place for the spinner to sit. Especially when you spin. The original design shouldve been kept. I do like the variety of color in the "people" and the fact that for the most part the game is played the same.

It's not the same as the game was in its original version. The mountains and other features of the original game are what made it great. We did like the updated career options. The money options werent as vast either.

Excellent family friendly game, likely best for age 6 . Takes our family of 4 about an hour to go around the board.

This timeless game is still beneficial to play with my children. They love it as much as I did when I was younger.

Even though I got the wrong item the first time with this order, The way it was handled was 5 star all the way ! Things happen during the Holiday season with deliveries, this is a fact, but how it is handled makes all the difference. Thank you

The game is a little complicated but it's way too fast as soon as you get started it's over with I used to love this game when I was young but it's not as I remembered... Quality is good though...

I bought this game to play with my kids for when they're stuck inside or bored. As we got it, we opened it up to play it and much to my surprise the board itself is in a different language. Everything else including the directions and cards are all in English, but the board is not. We can't play the game because we don't speak or read the language that's on the board. Money well wasted. I'll be returning this game and not buying another one.

If you want family fun for family nights, this board game is recommended. Go throughout the stages of life from college to retirement. Collect the most money to win the game. Buy houses, get careers, and more!Very recommended.

If you are looking for the version you played as a child this isn't it. Nothing over the top has changed, but I will tell you so you aren't surprised -people color has changed, I consider that a plus -some of the careers you have to have a degree and college you pay $100 k up front -there are more life cards to land on -there isn't any 3 D features to the game There are more features that have changed that I am sure you can look up. My grandkids won't know any different and will probably enjoy the game more. I'm a little bummed though :/

I played The Game of Life with my parents, then with my own children. I now play The Game of Life with my grandkids. it has become a tradition in my family providing hours of family fun. It is nice to unplug from all the modern technology and enjoy family time playing a great board game. Ordered for it through the Walmart site for at store pickup. The price was fantastic and so was the service.

the box arrived ripped and dirty. this was a gift that I am embarrassed to give based on how it arrived.
